Steak Marinade

MARINATED LONDON BROIL(about 5 servings)
2-3 pound flank steak or London Broil
4 T balsamic vinegar (I like Fini Balsamic Vinegar)
4 T fresh lemon juice
3 T Dijon mustard
2 T Worcestershire sauce
1 T finely minced fresh garlic
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. Cayenne pepper
1 tsp. smoked paprika or paprika(I recommend La Chinata smoked paprika if you can find it.)2/3 cup olive oil
Make small scores about 1/4 inch deep and 1/4 inch apart on both sides of the meat. (This allows the marinade to penetrate more.) Place meat in large ziploc bag. Mix marinade ingredients and pour over meat. Marinate in refrigerator 8 hours or more.

To cook, preheat grill to high heat. Grill 8-10 minutes per side for rare to medium rare. To serve, slice thinly across the grain. Serve with your favorite steak sauce if desired.

I got this recipe from some site on the net. I don't remember where or I would give them the deserved credit. I love it. I am trying it on a cheap steak tonight and I will see if it tastes as good as it did on the flank steak.

I buy all sorts of meat on sale(no, not rabbit or venison or even lamb). Then I use the internet to find recipes. If I find one that I like, I save it forever- and post it if I remember! Please share your favorite marinade with me and I will post it and give you credit(aren't I nice).
